Outsourced Accounting Services Led by Partners

Books closed on time, every month, by chartered accountants and checked by a partner before they reach you. Partner-led outsourced accounting services for businesses and accounting firms in the UK, US, UAE and Europe.

Most businesses don’t outsource accounting to save money. They do it because the books are always behind, month-end keeps slipping, and the founder or finance lead ends up checking everything personally.

Hiring locally is slow and expensive, and cheap hourly outsourcing often moves the problem rather than solving it. Errors surface at audit, staff rotate every few months, and nobody on the account can explain what the numbers actually mean.

B.B. Mathur & Company takes a different route. As an outsourced accounting firm run by chartered accountants, we assign a stable team to your account, work inside your existing software and have a partner sign off every monthly close. You get accurate books, on time, from people who know your business.

What Finance Leaders Tell Us Before They Switch

We are always a month behind. By the time the numbers arrive, the decision they were meant to inform has already been made.

Late books

Founders and CEOs

We outsourced to save money, but I now spend my weekends reviewing their work and fixing reconciliations that don’t tie out.

Paying twice for cheap work
CFOs and finance managers

Busy season arrives, our best people are stretched, and hiring another accountant takes three months we don’t have.

No capacity when it matters
CPA and accounting firm partners

The hidden cost of late books

Cash decisions made on last quarter’s numbers, missed supplier discounts and debtors left unchased.

The hidden cost of cheap outsourcing

Rework, audit adjustments and your own senior time spent checking work you paid someone else to do.

The hidden cost of hiring

Months of recruitment, training and salary before a new accountant is fully productive, and the risk they leave.

End-to-End Outsourced Accounting Services

Hand over one process or your full finance back office. Every service runs on a fixed monthly fee, inside your software, with partner review.

Order to Cash (O2C) Services (Accounts Receivable)

Customer invoicing, cash application, debtor ageing and collection follow-ups, so cash comes in faster and your forecast stays reliable.

Procure to Pay (P2P) Services (Accounts Payable)

Invoice capture, three-way matching, vendor reconciliations and payment runs, plus 2026 1099 tracking for US businesses.

Record to Report (R2R) and Month-End Close

Reconciliations, accruals, journals and a documented close calendar, with a partner reviewing every close before the books are locked.

Outsourced Bookkeeping Services

Weekly transaction posting, coding and document checks that keep your ledger current and audit-ready all year, not just at year-end.

Management Accounts and MIS Reporting

Monthly profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow and KPI packs in the format your leadership team and investors already read.

White-Label Accounting for CPA Firms

Extra capacity for accounting practices under your brand and processes, including record-keeping for UK Making Tax Digital clients.

Catch-Up and Clean-Up Accounting

Months of backlog brought current and historical misposting corrected before an audit, tax filing, fundraise or change of accountant.

Financial Modelling and Forecasting

Budgets, rolling forecasts and three-statement models built on your actual numbers, ready for lenders, investors or the board.

Why Businesses Outsource Accounting to BBMCo

Offshore accounting only saves money when the work is right the first time. These are the gaps most providers leave open, and how we close them.

Partner-Led Review

A partner reviews every monthly close and report, so errors are caught in the month, not at audit.

A Team That Stays

The same accountants stay on your account, so you never re-explain your business to a new face.

Fixed Monthly Fees

Priced by agreed scope, not by the hour. Questions and corrections never raise the bill.

Your Software, Your Data

We work inside QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Zoho Books or NetSuite. Your records stay yours.

Time Zone Coverage

Daily overlap for UK and Europe, overnight turnaround for the US, and an agreed response time.

Stringent Data Security

NDA before access, named-user permissions and ICAI confidentiality standards on every file.

2026 Compliance Ready

Records kept to current rules, including UK Making Tax Digital and the new US 1099 thresholds.

Automation With Oversight

Bank feeds and smart capture speed up the work. A qualified accountant checks every entry.

A Clean Exit, If You Need One

No lock-in. If you leave, you get reconciled books, working papers and a full handover.

New Rules Mean More Work. We Absorb It.

2026 brought real changes to how businesses keep records and report. Here is what they mean for your accounts and how we handle them.

Making Tax Digital for Income Tax

From 6 April 2026, sole traders and landlords with qualifying income above £50,000 must keep digital records and send quarterly updates to HMRC. The threshold falls to £30,000 in 2027 and £20,000 in 2028.

For accounting firms, that is four submissions per client instead of one. We keep records current and prepare quarterly figures for your team.

New 1099 Reporting Thresholds

For payments made in 2026, the Form 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC threshold rises from $600 to $2,000, and the IRS FIRE filing system is being retired in favour of IRIS.

Fewer forms, but every payee still needs tracking. We maintain W-9s and vendor totals in your AP workflow all year.

AI in Bookkeeping

Automated coding and receipt capture are now standard in most accounting software. They are fast, but they misclassify at scale when nobody checks them.

We use automation to move faster and qualified accountants to catch what it gets wrong, before the books close.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers to what businesses and accounting firms ask before they outsource accounting.

Outsourced accounting services are the recurring finance tasks a business hands to an external accounting team instead of hiring in-house: bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, month-end close and management reporting. At BBMCo, chartered accountants carry out the work and a partner reviews every monthly close before it reaches you.

Cost depends on transaction volume, the number of entities and the processes in scope. BBMCo quotes a fixed monthly fee after a short scoping call, so you are never billed by the hour and questions or corrections never add to the invoice. There are no set-up fees hidden in the first month.

Yes, when access is properly controlled. We sign an NDA before any access is shared, only the named accountants on your account can see your data, work happens inside your own software rather than on local copies, and access is removed the day a team member or engagement changes. Our chartered accountants are also bound by the ICAI Code of Ethics on client confidentiality.

You do. Your records stay in your own accounting software under your ownership at all times. If you end the engagement, we complete a handover: reconciled books to the last closed month, working papers, and process notes, so your next accountant or in-house team can pick up without a gap.

UK and European clients share several working hours with our team every day. For US clients, work is completed overnight so updated books are ready at the start of your day. Every client has a named point of contact, an agreed response time and a regular review call with a partner.

We work inside QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, Zoho Books, NetSuite and Tally Prime, alongside tools such as Dext for receipt capture. We prepare accounts under US GAAP, UK GAAP (FRS 102) and IFRS, following the policies already set in your chart of accounts.

Yes. We work as a white-label extension of CPA and accounting firms, under your processes and your brand. For UK practices handling the new Making Tax Digital for Income Tax clients from April 2026, we can keep digital records current and prepare quarterly figures for your team to review and submit.

We use automation where it saves time, such as bank feeds, receipt capture and rule-based coding. Every automated entry is still checked by a qualified accountant before the books are closed, because automation speeds up the work but does not replace judgement.

Most engagements move from the first call to a trial month within two weeks. The timeline depends mainly on how quickly system access and prior-period records can be shared, and we give you a short checklist so nothing holds it up.

Outsourced bookkeeping covers recording transactions and keeping the ledger current. Outsourced accounting goes further: reconciliations, accruals, month-end close, financial statements and management reports. Many clients start with bookkeeping and extend the scope once they see the quality of the work.
