Beyond outsourcing. A finance function you own and run from India, built by a Chartered Accountancy firm with six decades of experience behind it.
India now hosts thousands of Global Capability Centres, and finance is one of the fastest growing functions inside them. What used to be a back office cost play has become a genuine operating model. Companies are moving core finance work, from transactional processing to financial planning, into centres they own and control directly, rather than routing it through a vendor.
The reasons are practical. India offers a deep bench of qualified accountants and finance professionals, mature compliance infrastructure, and cost efficiency that still holds up even as salaries rise. But a finance GCC only works if it is set up properly and run by people who understand both the regulatory side and the operational side of finance. That is where we come in.
“The 2026 Union Budget raised the safe harbour threshold for transfer pricing from Rs 300 crore to Rs 2,000 crore, making compliance considerably simpler for mid-sized GCCs setting up finance operations in India.”
Our GCC work is organised around four services. Take all four together as a single turnkey engagement, or bring us in for the ones your centre needs right now. Each is run by Chartered Accountants, so the compliance and control side of your centre is handled by the same people designing how it works.
I
For companies building their first finance GCC in India who want one accountable partner from the first spreadsheet to the final handover.
Setting up a centre from overseas means coordinating lawyers, landlords, recruiters, banks and tax advisers in a country you do not operate in yet. We take that coordination off your plate. Under our Build-Operate-Transform-Transfer model, we build the centre, run it while it finds its feet, improve how the work gets done, and then hand it over to you as a working finance function.
What you end up with: a centre you own outright, with its improvements already in place rather than listed as next year’s project.
II
For companies that want to lead their own build, or already have an Indian entity, and need specialist help at specific stages.
Not every company wants a turnkey arrangement. Some have an India leadership team in place and simply need experienced hands on the pieces that tend to stall a build: regulatory filings, tax positioning, hiring and the actual move of work from head office. We plug into your plan at whichever stage you are in, whether that is the first ten hires or adding a new finance tower to a centre that has been running for years.
What you end up with: the foundations of your centre in place, with every decision still made by your own leadership.
III
For existing GCCs that run smoothly day to day but struggle to show head office how much they contribute.
A centre that is never deliberately improved tends to keep doing last year’s work in last year’s way. Over time, head office starts to see it as a cost line rather than a capability. We help you define exactly what the centre is responsible for, measure it in terms the CFO cares about, and keep a steady rhythm of improvement going.
What you end up with: a centre that can explain its own contribution, and a structure that keeps it improving after we step back.
IV
For centres that are hiring, ramping up or preparing their team to run without outside support.
Finding qualified finance people in India is rarely the hard part. Getting them working to your accounting policies, your reporting calendar and your expectations, and then keeping them, takes far more deliberate effort. As an accountancy firm we train finance professionals every year, and we bring that same approach to your team.
What you end up with: a team that knows your standards, has reasons to stay, and is ready to run the centre on its own.
Full ownership of your day to day finance and accounting work, run to the standard of an embedded stakeholder, not a vendor account. Available on its own, or alongside a GCC. Some clients later move to a centre of their own as their India presence grows; many never need to.

A finance GCC moves through six stages, from the first question of whether to build one to growing it after handover. You can join at any stage.

We are a Chartered Accountancy practice, not a staffing vendor that added finance ops as a service line. Audit-grade rigor and statutory compliance are built into how we run your books, not layered on afterward.
Most finance GCC providers in India come from a BPO or staffing background. We came from statutory audit and taxation practice, and that is still where our core expertise sits. It shapes how carefully we handle your compliance, your reporting, and the judgement calls a checklist cannot cover.
Delivery in English, Dutch, Spanish and Portuguese means your India team can work directly with stakeholders in their own language, not through a layer of translation.
Every Build-Operate-Transform-Transfer engagement is designed to end with you owning the function outright. We are not structured to keep you dependent on us once the centre is stable.
A Global Capability Centre is a dedicated unit that a company sets up in another country, usually India, to run core business functions such as finance, technology, or operations. Unlike a BPO or outsourcing arrangement, a GCC is owned and controlled directly by the company itself, even when a partner like BBMCo helps build and run it in the early years.
BOTT is a four-stage way of setting up a GCC through a partner. We build the centre, operate it on your behalf while it stabilises, transform how the work is done by automating and tightening the finance cycle, and then transfer the people, processes and controls to your ownership. The full engagement typically runs 24 to 36 months. The difference from a standard Build-Operate-Transfer arrangement is the transform stage: you take over a centre that has already been improved, not a copy of how the work was done before it moved.
Yes. Many of our engagements start with an existing centre. Our Center Setup and Expansion Support covers new finance towers, new entities and transitions of additional work, while our Transformation, Service Management and Governance service helps established centres define their scope, measure their contribution and keep improving. You do not need a full BOTT engagement to work with us.
GCC governance is the set of rules and routines that decide what a centre is responsible for, how its performance is measured and how issues reach the right people. In practice it covers a service catalogue, agreed service levels and KPIs, a calendar of operating and head office reviews, internal controls and a clear escalation route. Good governance is what lets head office trust the centre with more important work over time.
Yes. Through our Talent and Capability Building Support, we design roles and team structure, recruit qualified finance professionals, and train them on your ERP, accounting platforms, group policies and reporting standards. We also put career paths and succession cover in place, which matters most in the months leading up to transfer.
Outsourcing typically means handing off tasks to a vendor who is measured against a service agreement. Our GCC services build your finance function as an extension of your own business, designed to end in full transfer. Our Managed Finance and Accounting Operations track keeps the work with us on an ongoing basis, but is still run to your outcomes and standards, not a vendor SLA, with the same team staying on your account rather than rotating.
No. Managed Finance and Accounting Operations is available on its own, for companies that want bookkeeping, payroll, and reporting handled by a dedicated India team without setting up a formal GCC. Some clients later add a GCC as their India presence grows; many never need to.
This depends on the scope and size of the function you are building. A feasibility study and entity setup can take a few months, while a full Build-Operate-Transform-Transfer engagement typically runs 24 to 36 months from initial set-up to full transfer. We scope this with you during the feasibility stage based on your specific requirements.
Yes. Our teams work in Dutch, Spanish, and Portuguese in addition to English, and we are experienced with QuickBooks and Xero. This is particularly useful for businesses headquartered in Europe or Latin America that need a finance team in India able to communicate directly with local stakeholders.
Our teams are trained on the accounting platforms most widely used by international businesses, including QuickBooks and Xero, alongside standard Indian compliance and reporting tools.
